GEMS

So you gotta bunch of gems and you don't know what to do with 'em?  Which is better, buying resources or boosting production of collectors?
It's simple math.  Let's assume your have 5 gold collectors and they are all maxed at Level 11.  They will each produce 3000 gold every hour.  So 5 collectors times 3000 is 15000 gold per hour.  So in 24 hours, you will produce 360,000 gold.  If you boosted each collector for 11 gems each, your production will double, giving you 720,000 gold and costing 55 gems.

However, buying gold is much more expensive! Only 400,000 gold will cost you over 280 gems.  CoC is all about time, and gems equal time.  So it's up to you.  If you don't wanna wait, gem it!  But if you can be patient, gems can be spent wiser, like boosting a collector.
